Won a set of valves on an eBay auction.  QED are happy to swap the inlets I bought from them for sprint type valves.  These will be used eventually for the spare head that I have.

3m of Felt arrived from Woolies

Rebuilt of the engine:

 

and finished the gearbox:

 

Continued work on the chassis, adding the Rear brakes, handbrake mechanism, gearbox and finally the engine:

 

Cleaned and painted the engine bay and removed the old non-failsafe light pods ready for fitting the new failsafe mechanism:

 

 

With the assistance of Pete & Richard Chamberlain, John Harper, Eric Miller, David Polkey and my son Ben daughters Ellie and Catherine and Wife Angela, we replaced the Body on the chassis one Sunday morning:
