The Workshop
I decided that I'd need somewhere to work on the different parts of the vehicle as I started to restore it, as well as store all of the extra parts that I bought. As I can't get into my existing shed, I decided to build a new one. A 10' x 8' structure is the biggest I can fit at the bottom of the garden without cutting down any trees. Unfortunately there is no way of getting a ready made shed to that end of the garden, so I decided to build one myself. I paid a guy to clear the ground, dig out and lay a concrete base and then bought a pile of timber. Built a floor from 4"x2" timbers and 8'x2' moisture resistant chipboard Constructed the frame from 3"x2" timber and clad it in 19mm thick Shiplap. Finished it off with OSG board and bituminised corrugated roofing, acrylic windows and a t&g door.
